I can't even like fully articulate how much I adored him and how he was just so good to Jennie. Fuck Kevin!!! Okay, I'm actually getting mad even thinking about him because he sucks so bad lol. The amount of fury that still flows through my veins at the thought of Kevin. There were a lot of parts of her history that I personally related to, to the point where it took me a few days to finish the book, because I had to set it down a few times, because it HURT MY FEELINGS!!! I would just stare at the wall and be like, "I am okay, this is fine, I am doing great here" while my husband was like, "babe? What's going on?"Īnyway, she's my new fictional bestie, and if I ever saw Kevin in the streets, it would be on sight. I am a sucker for a girl with a traumatic backstory She's the movement, she's the moment, etc. So, first of all, Jennie Beckett is an icon so jot that down. But as much as I loved golden retriever Carter Beckett, I think I actually loved this book more than the first - and while I adored Garrett as a LI, I think the real reason I loved this book even more is for Queen Jennie Beckett. I also loved (and raved here) about the first one, Consider Me. Okay, so this is #2 in the Playing for Keeps series. This is probably going to be a bit long-winded, as I have been DESTROYED by.
